Spectacular sights abound on this 13.1 mile run on the shores of the Big Lake , Lake Winnipesaukee , New Hampshire . Pick up your cadence on the flats, bear down on the hills, but make sure to admire the vistas and the horizon, as it’s filled with views of the White Mountains and the Ossipee Mountain Range. When you’re not struck by the natural beauty of your surroundings, check out the live music along the course, ranging from Jazz to Bluegrass , to a possible Elvis sighting! Be entertained by our fabulous aid stations and fuel up with great treats, fresh fruit, cheerleaders and more! This is an event that you don’t want to miss!

For Course Maps and Directions to the Race
Members of running or triathlon clubs may join together to compete for the Big Lake Club Challenge Championship. Clubs will be scored based on the the combined time of their top 3 male and top 3 female finishers. Fastest combined time wins! Large clubs are welcome to field more than 1 team if they wish! There will be cash awards to the top 3 fastest teams. The Club Challenge Champion will receive $250 and a great trophy, The Silver Medalist will receive $150, and the Bronze Medalist will receive $100. The team or club with the MOST participants in the race will be awarded the CLUB PARTICIPATION award, and receive $250, regardless of times.

8 Water stops will be located on the course, plus the start and finish. There will also be a fresh fruit station on course, and other assorted treats. Bandaids and vaseline will also be available. The stops will be staffed by the best volunteers around trying to take home the "Big LakeTM Battle" first prize!
Imagine running through a tiki hut or tropical oasis...Groove to the tunes of Elvis or maybe the bluegrass twang of a bango. Imagine these people cheering YOU on. All water stops will be competing for prizes and cash in the "Big LakeTM Battle". The most creative and spirited squad wins! Great Live music and entertainment along the course will keep you going! You never know what or who you might run into on course, but expect to be entertained! Expect cheerleaders, plenty of bands and more.

Cross the finish line, grab your medal, and start recovering immediately. We’ll have all sorts of treats, candy, fruit, and a bunch of other recovery stuff for you.
Party In The Bay! Following the race and after you've received your much-deserved finisher's medal, Subway subs, Hannaford Supermarket, Jordan's Ice Cream, and Stonyfield Farm Yogurt. Following the race, stick around for the Big LakeTM BASH and party down with live music on the bandstand The Whole Course will be a party, too, with live entertainment throughout!

It's great to be a kid....It's not so great to be a kid watching adults run around.To make the kiddos feel at home, we'll be offering a bunch of activities for them. There will be arts and crafts and great games. In addition, there will be a special pie-eating contest for the kids, to take place right before the awards. Sign up at the Kids Zone.
In addition, be on the lookout for Bonk The Moose, who'll be handing out Big Lake Bucks to any kid he sees. Those Big Lake Bucks can be exchanged at the Big Lake General Store for free goodies!
