ESTS Tri Coaching is the official coaching program for the 2005 TimbermanTM. A personal program will be designed to meet your specific training needs and assist you in reaching your race goals. ESTS Tri Coaching will provide you with weekly workouts by email, unlimited email communication with no longer than a 24 response time, a monthly allotment of phone time with the coach, articles to be posted on the TimbermanTM and more. Here is the coach's Biography:
Steve has been coaching triathletes since 1992 through his business ESTS Tri Coaching. He has earned a BS in Sports Medicine and is a certified USA Triathlon Level 2 coach (since 1995). Steve specializes in long-course training, specifically half and full Ironman races, and has clients around the world. His philosophy is to focus on "realistic training for Ironmans". He believes that with all of the demands on today's athletes, including long work hours and family commitments, the key to success is balance. Steve's programs address all aspects of training, from nutrition to progression in small increments, and are specifically tailored to address the needs of individual athletes.
Along with his high-quality coaching, Steve serves as the online coordinator
for Ironmanlive and offers gait analysis and custom bike fitting. He has

Steve has been competing in triathlons since 1989. Since that time, he has completed over 100 races. His focus is long-course distance racing and he has completed 12 Ironman races to date. Recently, Steve qualified for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships in 2004. He regularly places in the top 5-10% of most races and in his age group.
