For those of us doing Sundays race when is a good time to swim on Saturday so that we are not in the way? Obviously not while people are in the water for the race but how about after? Any time or are there specific swim practice times? Thanks

Last year I swam with some friends after the last swim wave was sent off. We just didn't swim on the course, but rather off the beach halfway between the start/exit so we were never near any of the swimmers doing the race and we were fine.

Emzee, I'm in the "course sweeper" wave. Just jump in and pace me through the mine zone of bodies! Very Happy

If you're there spectating, you're fine jumping in AFTER the swim is done.
If you're not coming in with the spectators, you won't be able to park in the park.

We ask that people avoid trying to come to the park DURING the race, so anytime after noon is fine to swim....

We'll be there all morning watching our tri club friends do the international. We'll probably try and find time during the race, after the swim to get in a little practice.
